Eddie Jaku, né Abraham Jakubowicz en Allemagne en 1920, est un survivant du camps de concentration d'Auschwitz.
Pendant le 2ème Guerre Mondiale, Eddie fut envoyé aux camps de concentration de Buchenwald et d'Auschwitz. En 1945, pendant une marche de la mort, il réussit à s'échapper et est secouru par les Alliés.
En 1950, il part, avec toute sa famille, en Australie, pays où il vit depuis sa création.
Il travaille comme volontaire au musée juif de Sydney depuis sa création.
