Max Décharné est un musicien rock, un auteur et un journaliste anglais ("Mojo", "Bizarre", "The Guardians"...).
Il est connu pour être le batteur de "Gallon Drunk" et de "The Flaming Stars".
En 1986, il a fondé avec Frank Key "Malice Aforethought Press" pour laquelle il écrivit "The Importance Of Being Harnessed" et "The Night They Invented Shampoo".
