For Barnum, anything is possible. For Barnum, one dream becomes a million, and in Charity, he finds a partner for life when she sings : "However big, however small / Let me be part of them all / Share your dreams with me."
There were barriers drawn by class, by race, by many, many different things. And Barnum kind of broke down many of those walls... He believed that what makes you different actually makes you special.
For P.T. Barnum, the only thing that separated dreams from reality was belief. My greatest joy would be that The Greatest Showman inspires people to believe in their dreams once more.
The underlying story of The Greatest Showman - the source of its universal appeal - extends to one's childhood and the idea that dreams are, or have the potential to become, real.
The Greatest Showman helps audiences remember that no one made a difference by being like everyone else.
You can be the ringmaster of your own life and, yes, you can rewrite the stars.
