- No I don't think so. You know, they've been victims to a lot of discrimination in Australia. Ivy's grandfather, for instance,was forced to live in a white family when he was a kid, away from his real parents. The idea was to educate him within the white culture. The same thing happened to thousands of Aborigines for more than fifty years, and it became a huge scandal. Many citizens signed The Sorry Book to show them we felt really bad about this policy.
