The story of Peter Parker, alias Spider-Man, in this book entitled « The Parker luck » starts with the fact that he was mind-swapped with Dr Otto Octavius. So, all his life has changed : now, he has a girlfriend that he doesn't know and that he has never seen ; he has a big tech company to his name. And he « woke up » with all these facts. He has to « restart » his life with all these elements.
Moreover, he has to repair the Dr Otto Octavius' damages. For example, when this last one was Spider-Man, he fought against the Black Cat, and she was arrested and her identity was known.
She wants to have a revenge against Spider-Man, but it's not the same Spider-Man now. Electro also appears as an enemy, in the Black Cat's side, but Peter will do what he can to cure him and save him. At a certain time, some memories come back in his head, and he remembers a woman who was also bitten by a spider, and he delivers her. Together, they will fight against the Black Cat.

I really liked the book, because firstly, it was the first time that I read a comic, and I had wanted to do so for a few months. So it was a good opportunity. Also, with No Way Home which was released recently, I saw this film, but I didn't see Garfield's films and stories. I discovered him in this book, and it was a good thing. I also could understand some moments in the recent film that I didn't, like Electro for example. We can find the Marvel touch, and humour that I love so much, and so we weren't lost at all. In conclusion, it was a good moment to read this very good book, especially in English.
