"
Refugee Boy" by
Benjamin Zephaniah tells the story of Alem, a young ethiopian boy who goes to a refugee camp in the UK in order to flee the civil war in his country.
I would totally recommend this book because it deals with profound themes such as family, identity and resilience. Moreover, it offers a touching point of vue of the refugee's life in the camp. The nuances of the language really pulls you into the story of the book. Finally, Alem is an attaching character by his courage, his kindness toward others and his determination to find his place in a band new country, even if he encounteres obsacles.
