Le Maître et Marguerite

My apologies, for writing this "Critique" in English. Here we go: I have never read such a long-winded, complacent book. Even the Old Testament was les idiotic. There were some passages - notably at the very beginning - that could be taken as an evidence of Boulgakov's artistic talent. But they were few and far between. The characters were far too many, and not even properly developed. The love story between "Le Maître et Marguerite" was non-existent. The "black magic" was mostly gratuitous and not convincing. I have finished reading the book only because one of my friends loved it so much.
