This is gonna be my very last contribution to this site. I got kind of fed up with criticizing books that thousands of people have read. It's useless. The only goal seems to earn some sort of recognition badge from my peers. Well, what's the point?
So, I read this book in English and I really enjoyed it, quite more than in any french translation I guess. Try the exercise too, and the very spirit of the "so called" Lewis Carroll will, hopefully, touch your soul.
