I'm going to present you only the first short story because I read only this part of the book : The strange ride of Morrowbie Jukes.
A civil engineer named Morrowbie Jukes went to work with his team in the Great Indiajn Desert on the outskirts of Calcutta. One day he follows an animal on his horse, but the horse stumbles and he faints.
When he wakes up, he was into a big holl with other people in a mysterious village that seems verry hard to escape because the slope was too stipp to climb back up.
Does he surviv and escape ?
I really enjoy this short story because there is a lot of action. The story has a lot of enigmas that increase the suspense, that keeps you at the edge of your sit.
