David Levithan managed to tell us a story of love and heartbreak, life and death, joy and dispair, past, present and future without boring or losing us in the midst of these different stories and characters. They overlap perfectly and give you time to appreciate each emotion on its own without drowning in it. A book that is as emotionally hard to read as it is hard to put down once you've started it. Definitely recommend.
