Wayward Children, tome 1 : Every Heart a Doorway

I found the idea REALLY interesting and liked the weird, creepy atmosphere.But I found the characters slightly disappointing. And the plot was... meh. It was ok but not super great. And I would have loved to learn more about the different world the kids visited.Also, I didn't like how the author insisted on the fact Nancy is asexual. I am actually ace and I was happy to see such a character in a book. But I found it annoying how she wrote about it... like, ok, we get it ...
