Biographie :
Auteure Sud-Africaine de romans, nouvelles et littérature enfantine. Sa mère était enseignante, journaliste et a écrit des nouvelles, Daphné a suivi son exemple, a été journaliste et écrivain. Elle a épousé un Australien, l'a suivi en Australie et a fini sa vie au Royaume-Uni. Son plus grand succès fut son roman Mitty.
