Nicolas Riviere currently works at ONERA, The French Aerospace Lab as Space Systems Program Director. He is also Research Director at the University of Toulouse authorized to steer researches ("Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches HDR"). He teaches at aerospace engineering higher education schools such as ISAE-SUPAERO, ENAC and IPSA.
Nicolas Riviere received his PhD degree in 2006 and started as Senior Research Engineer in the Optronics Department at ONERA in the field of light scattering and laser imagery. He does researches in Optics, Atomic, Molecular, Optical and Experimental Physics. His most recent publication concerns advanced vision in low visibility thanks to 3D laser imaging techniques. High resolution 3D-LiDAR and telemetric systems are embedded on mobile vehicles (eg. satellites, drones, planes). More information on http://www.riviere.fr
