Professor Anderson received his Ph.D from Saint Louis University and taught for 32 years at McKendree University. He also taught as a visiting professor at Reis Biological Station ( Saint Louis University) and the University of Michigan Biological Station. He is the author of Biology of the Ubiquitous House Sparrow : from genes to populations. He is retired and lives with his wife, Carol, in Kingstin, Washington.
