Citation de giati

People come and go underneath the cloud. Some to the bar, some to the bingo. There are the road workers, in construction, slab muscled and riding temporary money, new pickups with expensive options and airbrushed curlicues on the doors. Local businessmen with French names and Cree blood, guys with green eyes and black hair, talk in the quieter corners, making deals with flat hand gestures. Farmers visit - a Scandinavian family group or two - always quiet and half asleep and worked raw. When the men take off their Grain Belt or John Deere hats, the upper halves of their pale horeheads float and bob in the dark as they nod and talk.
