Il a d'abord travaillé chez r IDW Publishing, pour des titres de la série "Angel", ou de la série "Spike".
Avec son frère David, il écrit pour des séries de l'univers Star Trek : "Star Trek: Klingons - Blood Will Tell", "the Star Trek: Alien Spotlight", "Star Trek: The Next Generation - Intelligence Gathering", "Star Trek: Mirror Images", et "Star Trek: Spock: Reflections".
