The Gateway of Ramesses IX in the Temple of Amun at Karnak

Part of the greatest temple in Egypt, this forms the publication of a little-known major work of one of the last kings of the Egyptian empire. After a brief introduction, the scenes are described, the inscriptions translated and the role of the gateway and its decoration discussed.
