Résumé :
To depicit the ceative work of Goya is to take a suvey of the history of Spain in 1750-1820, nay more, to take a yet more general survey of the history of Europe during this stirring epoch. We must transplant ourselves in thought to those years when an out of the fermenting, bubbling vat of chaos our present world was slowly taking shape.
