October 7th is just a detail. From 1917 to this very day, The UK and especially the US (no significant difference in policy under Republican and Democrat presidents), have ensured that Israel can use whatever means it feels necessary to increase its territory and wipe out the Palestinians, in order to provide more space for Zionists. This of course includes attacks on neighbouring countries. Rashid Khalidi, who, along with much of his family has been intimately involved in the politics of the region, goes into detail on why some of the largest Arab countries in the world, notably Egypt and Saudi Arabia, allow Israel to continue the many decades long massacres of Palestinians. The answer is quite simple - the Americans have bought them off. This is a book that will upset you and possibly put you into a state of depression.
