-Tu auras toujours toute mon attention, Catalina.

Because it was all you were willing to give me. And I'd rather have you hating me than not have you at all.
"You get sweaty hands, too?"
Lucas made sure he was meeting my gaze when he said, "I would if I was trying to work up the courage to kiss a girl like you".
"'I'll give you the world,' he said against my mouth. 'The moon. The fucking stars. Everything you ask, it's yours. I'm yours."
"you feel complete in my arms. You feel like my home."
"when i finally take those lips in mine, it will be the furthest thing from pretending. I will not be showing you what it would be like if you were mine. I'll show you what it is. And i sure as hell won't be showing how good i could make you fell if you called me yours. You'll already know that i am."
'What do you need?' he said, placing a kiss on the corner of my mouth. 'I’ll give it to you, Rosie.'
The answer was so simple, so obvious, that I didn’t even understand why he asked.
I grabbed on to him almost desperately, and told him, 'You.'
Because it was only him I needed.
"You blow my goddamn mind, my rules, my world," he breathed, those ocean-blue eyes capturing my gaze like they never had before. "When I least expect it, I find you ready to dynamite your way right into my heart. As if you hadn't done that already." The grip of his fingers on my wrist tightened, pulling me to him, and I could feel the soft air leaving his mouth, falling on my lips. "As if you hadn't already dismantled me for anybody else. As if I wasn't at your mercy."
"Careful." I flet his hand on my hair, his palm brushing down the tousled locks. "If you get any more perfect, I'm going to believe you were made just for me."
"Even if I'd saved that hypothetical person from a boisterous fall?"
Aaron's eyes wrinkled with the smile I was looking for, his lips remaining mostly flat. Still.
"Boisterous? I was merely going to brush the floor. Very delicately, mind you."
"You are a ridiculous, impossible woman, you know that?"
"Just keep doing what you are doing," I told him, swallowing the lump stuck in my throat. "Focus on pretending you are crazy about me, all right?"
I heard him hmm; it was a low and short-lived sound, but it was enough to make me step back, so I could look at his face. His eyes held that determined edge I knew so well.
"Trust me, I am focusing only on that."
Madre de Dios.
Aaron was...he was...
Fuck. He was... gorgeous - no, he was more than just that.
"Or that we are going as friends, right?" That had not sound right. Were we even friends ?
"Is that what you want to be, Catalina?" Aaron shot back calmly. "Friends?"
"I knocked." His tone was hard, matching his expression. "Twice." That stupidly deep voice of his reverberated through my bathroom.
"I could have been naked, you know."
Aaron shifted in front of me, not letting go of doorknob. His large fingers gripped it so fiercely it made me wonder if it would give out under the pressure.
"But you aren't," he said, voice still hard. "You are deninitely not naked."
"I-" I stopped myself, feeling self-conscious for a reason I didn't understand. "Do you need a date? Like ?" - I pointed a finger at him - "you? A woman to be your date?"
"I don't intend to show up with a chimpanzee, like you suggested. So, yes, a woman."
The, I shook my head, feeling that weird pressure in my chest again. So, I took the snack to my mouth, bit into it, and - holy granola bars. I moaned in delight.
"For Christ's sake," the man to my right muttered under his breath. Gobbling all the nutty and sugary amazingness down, I shrugged.
"Sorry, it was a moan-worthy bite."
