This book is a short novel. To resume the story begins with the narrator who is arriving at the house of his friend, Rodrick because he is askip for his help; indeed, Rodrick has mental illness. After his arriving, he learns that Rodrick's sister is also sick. They are the only remaming members of the House of Usher. Later Rodrick informs the narrator that Madeline is dead during the night but is she really dead? From this moment strange and terrifying moments will take place in this family Usher House
I like this story because she includes thèmes of sadness, isolation and metaphysicol identities. In this novel, there are reflects of the interconnecteness of the human spirit and also with the environnement around it. A dark and heavy atmosphere reins in this family house.
